Permit Applications and Submissions

All permit application forms are available for download in PDF format. **Please note that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing applications have been wrapped into our single Building Permit form.** Just make sure to check the applicable box(es) in Part 6 of the form and include any supplemental drawings or information necessary to review your application.
The online portal may only be used to submit permit applications for fences (not surrounding a pool), shed (less than 200 sq ft and no electrical service), and patios. For these, you can complete the form, upload required documents and make payment online.
Note regarding cost estimates: Cost estimates should include the reasonable value of all services, labor, materials, equipment, scaffolding, erection, and other appliances or devices entering into and necessary to the prosecution and completion of the work ready for occupancy, including any and all excavation necessary for cellars, basements, or private sewerage disposal systems. The total estimated valuation should be provided, even if you are performing the work yourself. If you need clarification, please reach out.

Application Fee Policy – Updated May 6, 2025

All residential permit applications must include a non-refundable application fee of:

$125 for building, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical permits
$100 for zoning-only permits (e.g., fences, sheds)

All non-residential permit applications must include:
$300 for building, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical permits
$150 for zoning-only permits

These application fees will be credited toward the total permit cost, with the remaining balance due at the time of permit issuance.
