HANOVER MEADOWS
Liberty Commercial Development Group has put forth a conceptual plan for a request to the BOS to amend a 2007 court-ordered settlement plan.
Status Update: Liberty Commercial is working under a processing agreement with the township to process its plans under a court-ordered stipulation. It is anticipated that the developer will submit a revised preliminary application soon.
PROVIDENT TRACT SKETCH PLAN
New Hanover Township received a sketch plan application from Select Properties for the property on North Charlotte Street (across from the New Ridge Fellowship’s North Campus) on May 21, 2026. New Hanover Township received a revised final plan from 223 Schuylkill Road LP called 2481 Romig Road #778 on March 27, 2026. The final plan, in accordance with the preliminary plan approval resolution, will create 50 single-family homes on 21.90 acres of land on Romig Road; Buchert Road is the nearest cross street. The application is entitled to final plan approval upon meeting the conditions of Resolution 20-15, approved on August 10, 2015, the MPC Clock Extension granted on February 6, 2020, and September 26, 2022.

New Hanover Township received a preliminary plan from RP Wynstone, L.P. called New Hanover Town Center on June 3, 2025. The submitted application states the plan is proposing 189 single-family units, 487 townhouses/twin units (690 total units), 184,400 SF of commercial space, and 10,000 SF of office space on 203 acres of land on North Charlotte Street and Swamp Pike. However, the plans submitted include 189 single-family units, 94 twin units, 78 atrium units, 290 townhouse units, 89 apartments units*, 14 mixed-use multi-family units (754 total units), 159,400 SF of commercial space**, and 10,000 SF of office space on 203 acres of land on North Charlotte Street and Swamp Pike. This plan is subject to a Remand Order dated April 28, 2025, which continues the developer’s initial application dated July 13, 2005, and includes certain rights within an approved preliminary plan resolution dated October 22, 2007.

New Hanover Township received a revised preliminary plan application from R.P. Wynstone, L.P on March 21, 2024. The revised plan is proposing to subdivide 195 acres into 644 units (townhouses and twins) with 316,700 square feet of commercial space (296,800 general commercial and 19,900 office space) on Swamp Pike and North Charlotte Street. This project is being referred to as “Town Center #811”.
