How to Use RecDesk to Register for Programs, Memberships & Facility Rentals
New Hanover Township uses RecDesk for all program registrations, memberships, and facility rentals. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Create Your Household Account
- Visit the RecDesk website using the link above.
- Click Create Account (or Register).
- Enter your household information, including address, phone number, and email.
- Add all family members to your household profile.
- Click Submit to create your account.
Tip: Use an email address you check regularly—this is where confirmations and updates will be sent.
Step 2: Log Into Your Account
- Return to the RecDesk homepage.
- Click Log In.
- Enter your email and password.
- You will be directed to your household dashboard.
Step 3: Register for Programs
- Click Programs from the main menu.
- Browse by category, season, or age group.
- Select the program you want.
- Click Register.
- Choose the participant from your household.
- Review details and add to your cart.
- Proceed to checkout and submit payment.
You will receive a confirmation email once registration is complete.
Step 4: Purchase Memberships
- Click Memberships.
- Select the membership type.
- Choose the household member(s) who will use the membership.
- Add to cart.
- Complete checkout and payment.
Memberships will automatically appear in your household account.
Step 5: Reserve a Facility
- Click Facilities.
- Select the facility you want to reserve.
- Review availability on the calendar.
- Choose your date and time.
- Complete the reservation request form.
- Add to cart and submit.
Rentals require a security deposit mailed to the township as well as a Certificate of Insurance at time of reservation. Some rentals may require staff approval. You will receive an email once approved.
Step 6: Make a Payment
- Click the Cart icon.
- Review your items.
- Enter payment information.
- Click Submit Payment.
- Save your confirmation receipt.
Step 7: View Registrations & Receipts
- Log into your account anytime
- Click Account or Household
- View registrations, memberships, and payment history
