      • 11-2 p.m. at New Hanover Community Park
      • Kids (and kids at heart!) can explore their favorite big trucks and emergency vehicles up close — climb inside, meet the drivers, and learn how these awesome vehicles serve our community. See it. Touch it. Explore it. Honk it. Refreshments will be for sale in the barn.

      •  Saturday, May 2, 2026 (Rain Date May 3, 2026)
      • 9-11 am at Hickory Park
      • Children are invited to cast a line and enjoy a fun morning of fishing! This free community event is a great way for kids to get outdoors and experience the excitement of fishing.  Participants should bring their own rod and bait. We can’t wait to see you at the pond for a great day at Hickory Park!
