Sewer Certification & Final Bill Requests for Property Transfers:
New Hanover Township has updated its procedures for requesting sewer certifications and final bills related to property transfers.
Request Process:
To request a sewer certification and final bill:
- Complete the Sewer Certification and Final Bill Request Form.
- Email the completed form to Caselle at UBSupport@caselle.com.
Fees:
- A non-refundable $20 certification fee will be added to the final bill at closing. This fee covers the preparation of the sewer certification and final bill required for settlement.
- If an additional certification is requested for the same property (for example, if the settlement is postponed or rescheduled), a separate non-refundable $20 certification fee will be charged for each additional certification request.
Finals are processed no more than one week prior to the settlement date to ensure the most accurate billing information is provided. Additionally, we can only process finals within the current billing period.
